Travel waiver for Tropical Storm Hone

A travel waiver is available for guests traveling to/from Hilo (ITO) or Kona (KOA) between August 24, 2024 and August 25, 2024 HST due to Tropical Storm Hone.

• Reschedule your flight at no additional cost:
  Guests traveling on Hawaiian Airlines who are traveling to/from Hilo (ITO) or Kona (KOA) between August 24, 2024 and August 25, 2024 HST can reschedule their flights to new dates. No change fees will be charged, and we’ll waive any applicable fare difference on the same city pair for travel and same cabin of service. Tickets must be rebooked into the same compartment (Main Cabin or First/Business Cabin) and travel must occur by August 29, 2024. Itineraries with travel outside of these periods would not be eligible for waiver of a fare difference.


• Cancel your flight and use the value as credit towards a new ticket:
  Guests traveling on Hawaiian Airlines who are traveling to/from Hilo (ITO) or Kona (KOA) between August 24, 2024 and August 25, 2024 HST can cancel their flights now and keep the unused value of the ticket until the ticket expires*. Upon rebooking a new flight, no change fees will be charged, but a fare difference may apply.
