Letter from our Chief Compliance Officer - Our Commitment

At Alaska Air Group, we have built a reputation for providing genuine and caring service. In doing so, we've never lost sight of our commitment to conduct our business with honesty, integrity and professionalism. These principles are integral to our culture and are reflected in our Alaska Air Group Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Our Code applies to all officers and employees, as well as all members of the Board of Directors. Our Code is not intended to address every possible situation but acts as a guide to the many applicable laws and key policies and procedures that govern doing business legally and ethically. Every employee should review our Code carefully and be familiar with its content.

We're depending on you to help us prevent activity that can harm our employees, our customers, our suppliers, or our companies. How? By getting involved and speaking up when you become aware of activities that may be illegal, unethical, or otherwise inconsistent with the Codes or our companies' policies. You are encouraged to ask questions, seek guidance, or report concerns to your supervisor or another member of management. However, if you do not feel comfortable raising such concerns directly or if you wish to remain anonymous by reporting through our third-party Ethics and Compliance Hotline.

What happens after I make a report?

After submitting a report, you will receive a report key and password. Save that information and use it to view your existing report and check for follow-up questions or status updates posted by HR or the Ethics & Compliance group.  Using the report key and password to check the status of your report is very important if you are reporting anonymously as it is the only way an investigator can communicate with you.

Once a report is submitted via the Hotline, it's sent directly to the Ethics & Compliance group, which will review the details of the report and work with the appropriate HR team or another division leader if appropriate to conduct a review of your concerns.

If an investigation is launched, it will include reviewing all available relevant information and discussions with knowledgeable individuals. Investigations might involve representatives from Legal, HR, Labor Relations, Customer Advocacy, union leadership, our operations teams, or others.

We pride ourselves on being a safe place to work. Anyone who reports a violation of our Code truthfully and in good faith, meaning you have honest intentions, is protected against retaliation from any leader or co-worker.
